I have a 2009 2.7L access cab taco and it’s got the camera in the tailgate and all the wiring for it. But no screen in the mirror. So I bought a mirror off of eBay that was in a wrecked truck. But the mirror looks to be in good shape. I plugged the mirror in and nothing turns on. I have power to the constant and when I put it in reverse. And I have ground. Could the mirror just be broken or is there something else I can check like a fuse?

I don't have a Tacoma, but lots of mirrors!
When you plug the mirror in and turn your truck's ignition on, do you see a green LED indicator lit up along the bottom of the mirror frame? If no, and you're certain you're getting power to pin #1 with the ignition on, then quite possibly you have a bad mirror. Not a very common thing, as these things are pretty rock solid. About the most common thing we see with these mirrors as they get old are dead pixels in the screen. But we've dealt with thousands of mirrors over the years coming out of wrecked vehicles, and these things generally hold up well, even in major accidents. So if your mirror's indicator is lit up with the ignition on, what does it do when you put the truck in reverse? If it blinks, then it's looking for a camera signal, but not getting one, meaning most likely your camera or the tailgate wiring is at fault.
