    Stock except new rims
So I just picked up a 1999 tacoma 4x4 that is bone stock expect 16 inch rims. I have 255 70 r16 for the tire size. How big can I go on that size rim without rubbing.

Well, you said it's bone stock except the wheels.

Without knowing the offset of your wheel, it's hard to "guess" if you'll rub.

With that said, even on stock wheels, where one vehicle rubs, another might not using the same tire and wheel combination. So again, it'd be anyone's guess.

If you look at the top of this forum, you'll see a drop-down with stickies, tire calculator, etc.
