33 down here… Yet ANOTHER attempt by Big Retail to sell us on Christmas before Thanksgiving or Halloween! This temperature set a record for lowest/earliest fall/winter. The previous record was 39 on Oct 30….in the 1970s.

33 this morning over on my side too, too cold for this time of the year!

 

Started making the universal joints for the Lely. One more end to make with splines and a locking pin.

 

Ordered sunglasses from Costco Monday evening.

Received email on the 18th saying estimated delivery is the 19th (yesterday).

Received additional email on the 18th saying "It has come to our attention that due to an unforeseen circumstance, we will be unable to meet the original estimated delivery date for your item mentioned above." Link to tracking number says the 20th (today).

Received email on the 19th that says they'll be delivered today.

Checking tracking number, it's showing them being in Illinois at 1:07 this morning.

I'm expecting them sometime in November.

 

Make ya a deal. I'll drive down there and get it for ya, and put it in my garage. You can drive down here and grab it. Should be able to make the trip here and back without much notice

 

If you got that beauty in your garage you wouldn't want to let it go.

 

I have a tiny Craftsman air compressor in my garage. I would LOVE to have that one over in MO.

 

Pretty sure mine and the farmhouse behind me lights would dim when that thing kicks on

Don't have the electrical capacity to run that here. Well, I guess I could, but can't cook or dry clothes when it runs

 

Shoulda just got ‘em from here. American dollars go a long way.

 

It would probably run on either a 30 or 40 amp 240 volt circuit. Full load around 24 amps maximum, you would be fine.
