My sister, who doesn’t ride, apparently thinks I’m an animal too. She sent me a t-shirt with a sloth on a bike.

the bike is pretty beat as far as scratches go. No dents.

The guy didn’t transport it well. However I did give $1600 for it. Drivetrain shifted great and looks new, No stanchion scratches though. Everything works.

Having a nice bike and improper way to carry it sucks.

Here you go, I’m on mobile now and will adjust price when I can search all available 970’s on pinkbike later.
Edit: lower price, second cheapest new gen spark on PB.

I think I can ride it and break even more so than turn profit.
I feel like I'll really enjoy it on the trails and climbs getting to the downs, but once there wish I would've just rode up on the Arrival.

The Wife and I are heading out to Sedona in two weeks for our wedding anniversary. I know you can rent bikes, but is there anywhere that does guided Ebike tours? Like a guide and bike wrapped in one package? Only saying Ebike because i am concerned with how my wife's performance would be being she hasn't been on her bike that often this year and MTB'ing in AZ is kind of a bucket list thing for me being from NJ.

    It sure is.

When I'm on forums like this I waffle between converting everything to miles and Fahrenheit or just saying "fuck it" and post in kilometres and Celsius. Let everyone else do the conversions. Ha

I'm around 9000km this year and that's with a pretty rough summer with injuries and life stuff. I don't really have distance goals. I mostly train by hours anyway. My main goal is to be consistent and to hit power targets. The distance just comes with that.

The weather can be fickle - Onion Creek ride - snowing and hail at the top, rain/small flash flood in the middle and 30 degrees, windy and sunny at the bottom.

Moab has changed a lot agreed. The town council has overbuilt capacity (5 new hotels in the past few years) so the number of people there is pretty staggering comparatively speaking. Dare I say too popular.
There is a current lawsuit to close 417 mi of off road motorized accessed trails west / north west of Moab to have it only accessed by hikers and mtn bikes due to "reported incidents" between off road vehicles and hikers. If it goes through, that would change the face of Moab even more and put more pressure on everything east, like Sand Flats Rd.

NVM... Just read EBikes are not allowed in Sedona's trail system. Looks like Hermosa Tours is the best bike/guide combo in one. Any others i should look at?

Took a quick look at comps. I think you’re right. Keep it listed, ride it, at worst break even.

For the poops and giggles you should throw that pike on while you’re riding it.

I did look up 130 air shafts for the pike... it's only $45.
So it's a possibility, I don't want to keep the bike too long or I may put money into it.
This Aluminum wheelset weighs something around 2100 grams

I don't know my thoughts on the cable routing, I like the looks, but maintenance may be a pain, but then again I really haven't touched the arrival headset since the bearings set in. So it may just be a manageable headache people have complained about.

I rode it a while back, it was super fun. We drove from DC area to cleveland in blizzard, I think like 2-3 days is the right amount of time to check it out.

lol. Fair. I feel like a sloth with some people, other's I feel like a Cheetah. and then there's days I feel like a big cow goign down the hill.

I'm not sure about guided tours but depending on ability level and time, I would check out any of the pig-related named trails. Hangover is intense exposure on one side and Hiline has some gnarly features. Other than that, north end of town I hear is pretty cool as well. Sedona is awesome to go ride in.

Sedona trails are pretty easy to navigate self-guided if you have a map or an app. There are also easier, but still very scenic, trails like Slim Shady that even beginners will enjoy.

Took out the gravel bike for a spin today - leaves make it impossible to see rocks and roots. Much more of a bumpy ride than planned, but always a win when you get some pedal time.
