He said it doesn't fit inside the fork with that tire, so he's looking for ideas for other options.

That was my concern as well but I came to the same conclusion as you, if it hugs it as much as possible and it still gets hit I think the brake line would be the least of my worries. Haha!

I'll check again, but in the stock location there wasn't enough room with the wider wheels and tires. The tires are literally a couple cunt hairs from shock guards as is. Will probably have to shave them down a bit. I quickly installed it on lunch so maybe I missed something.

The joy of oversize rotors and fat tires. Maybe it's time for a stainless aftermarket line.

Try contacting the company that makes the rotor kit and see about a new brake line.

Just picked this 2016 Triumph a month ago. Always wanted a Bonneville and once the 1200 came out. I had my eyes peeled. Actually a guy I know was on the fence about selling his 2017 speed triple, so while he kept tossing the carrot out and I grown tired of his game I asked if he'd sell his Thruxton? I stood staring at the Bonnie and knew that was what I really wanted...a few weeks later plus a 960 miles trip I got one and love it. while it get more attention then I'd like, I really like most everything about it except it's small tank.

I was surprisingly warm. I put on my snow camping pants/jacket and was good. The only problem was when the chill would hit my chin

I haven't gotten my actual cold weather riding gear out yet. I am using my heated jacket liner but it's only turned on to about 1/3 power so far. I had my heated grips on this morning but the air is hitting the backside of your hands not the palms. FJR has an electronically adjustable windscreen so I just put it up a little higher to change the air bubble behind it.

We don't really have cold weather down here in AL.....so I've never had heated gear. It was 32 this morning....but it'll be 80 at noon
