    yeah haha, you are about to step into a whole new world believe me lol

    For us it was really delayed by a couple years because covid happened a couple months after Sofia was born, so we didn't really mingle with anyone outside of family/close friends or go out for anything other than necessities.

    In some ways I really miss that...actually in a lot of ways. But it's good for her now that we can be social again because I don't want her to be an awkward antisocial weirdo like her dad.

    I was a little surprised, mainly cause I was by myself (went after class, Steph is at work).

    I like surprising her, having stuff set, done, etc as she gets home not knowing all I had planned.

    But yeah today I asked the dude working there where two specific items were, only for one lady to overhear and follow him :rofl:

    She made a few suggestions, only for another two mom's to chime in as well. Of course they ask the most common questions about the pregnancy, etc. I made it short and left.

    But hey, I got one item based on their recommendation!

    You've spent enough time with me to know I'm very selective about the people I allow around me so...yeah you're not alone in that train of thought :rofl:

    Nothing wrong with it, and really I'd go as far to say as not awkward or antisocial; you value character/morals that align with yours and surround yourself with such people!

    Unfortunately, this world is full of cuck fucks :rofl:

    Yeah I think I'm mostly my own worst enemy in thinking I'm more awkward around people than I really am, probably something a lot of us can relate to lol.
    I think the hangup I've got from my youth is because of all the moving we did when I was a teenager, I basically just retreated into myself and didn't want to get close to anybody for fear of having to leave them behind again. That's been a lifelong unpacking process for me, I know you can relate too growing up in a military family

    the upside to this that I learned to appreciate later was all the traveling, got to see more of the states than most of my friends and peers. Hearing some people say they never left the area of the state they were born in was like, that's the saddest thing I've ever heard lol.

    Friend of mine in Montana found a 2 door 92 4Runner for $1000 with a decent frame, rockers, and only minor rust in the fenders. It’s a 3.0 so he said he’s going to send it until it gives him trouble then 3.4 swap.

    I guess I read it wrong when you said wheels for shipping container; you meant it literally!

    ohhhh yeah that kind of stuff

    I do like to ponder it. My grandpa loved to watch specials on Egypt and I'd sit and watch them with him.

    Told my elderly neighbor I'd take some tires to recycling for him and they were stacked against my fence. Not sure if he got impatient and took them back or if someone "stole" them lol

    @Wulf
    @Empty_Lord

    Did you guys actually enjoy Halo 3? Storyline?

    It feels so....half-assed.

    The music isn't as, how can I say, dramatic (during certain scenes) as it was in Halo 1 or 2.

    The commentary, is much more cheesy, and although Cortana's random appearances were a nice attempt at adding suspense and drama, I felt like they were trying way too hard.

    I'm only playing through it because I finished 1 and 2, and plan to just 'finish' them all just because.
