    That's my plan for as soon as I get home from work today.. stack the remaining firewood. It's looking like we are finally going to get the first good rain tomorrow after a 4 month wait so I want to get it under cover. It's still unseasonable warm over here right now but we've got a high of 50 tomorrow with lows dipping into the upper 30's at night so I might get my first burn in tomorrow. We shall see.

    All stacked. I spent Tuesday night splitting the last handful of rounds late into the night and another 2 hours today stacking it in the shed. It's as full as it is going to be at this point but it should be more than enough to make it through this winter.

    Mine was all stacked and under tarps since spring. Half was seasoned a year then a house move and it’s sat on the new lawn for a month and we had a ton of rain. Oh well. Life goes On.

    Thank you. It is 4' deep and 24' wide. About 6' tall on the back side and 7' tall on the front. I haven't done the math on converting that volume into cords of wood but it holds more than enough for a season of burning.

    Hey man, I'm right over the mountain from ya up near Bloomery / Paw Paw area along the Cacapon River.

    I'm a bit late for an answer, you may have sold it already. lol... But I see those model stoves for $400-1000 on marketplace in the area. You still have it? I have an old Dovre stove that really should be replaced.

    Thanks for the reply. ill check with MIL but think she sold it. had all the fire brick in it just needed a little sanding and repainted. havnt been around PawPaw for years. family is from Highland Co. still go over @Durbin and did ramps ever year. thanks actually he bought it @ Cherry Grove:thumbsup:

    I framed it all out of pressure treated lumber and I used cedar for the decking on the inside as well as those horizontal slats along the outside.
