What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

birthday present from my wife came in (Light bar). Have it mounted and will wire it this weekend.

 

today I found the fourth reason never to use the wireless phone charger:
when you open and close the truck door with the engine on the thing turns off and on

 

I’d love to see a company like MESO or Z Precision come out with some storage that replaces the Qi charger. Could even add a useful Qi charger.

 

Are you taking about the center console where the phone rests...and the push button that controls the power on/off?

I do push start with the driver side door open sometimes...that does not happen on my 2021 Sport.

Installed Seat Jackers Driver and Passenger side today and use the smallest shim in the rears of both.

 

Got my new meso stealth shift knob today nice to have the ect button on the shifter now .

Also posted in a tire thread, but I just installed AT 265/70R17 Nokian Output AT tires on my 2019 Tacoma Sport today. I had ordered the 65's but an inventory mix-up meant they didn't arrive. They had the 70's in stock so I had them installed. Bonus - they were $30 cheaper per tire. I ended up spending about $15 LESS after taxes etc. even with a set of new wiper blades. (I needed the wiper blades, and the advertised price was less than anywhere I'd looked).

They ride very nicely, are a bit more noisy than the OEM Toyo A30's that I replaced, but sure look great.

Now I'm prepared for winter here. We don't get much snow, but when we do it's always quite a lot at one time. As the Toyo's were getting near their rated life and aren't 'snowflake + mountain', it was the right time to replace them.

Mine too! Install tomorrow since it’ll be raining and can’t MTB. I also got some chrome delete kit since I will be removing those parts…what’s your plan on the other button besides ECT? I already hacked my garage remote wired and ready to go.

 

I thought he said they are heavier and ride worse on the road.

I've used that wireless pad sparingly...only because my iPhone power connection cord doesn't catch the insert and I have to fiddle with it to charge.

I use a wireless pad/cord to charge my phone out of my truck for that reason.

Any issues with the button that activates the wireless pad in your truck?

 

Can anyone suggest a good brand of seat cover, I like my t new Tacoma and the leather seats, but the leather is to cold in the am, yes I have heated seats but wanted the seat cover for more of a protection thing.
