Morning fifties! Love the moment when you take a slug of coffee after fasting 14.5 hours! AHHH! Also stopped at Chick fil a and got a sausage burrito. Not so grouchy now. Happy Friday all!

Good Morning. Air quality has been bad last couple of days. County ordered schools to cancel all outdoor activities including recess. Makes for an interesting day. Hahaha. Rained a little last night and in the forecast all day. Should clear the air…But you know what that means? Indoor recess. Happy Friday!! Stay Well…Stay Safe

We had a nervous girl at the vet yesterday had to have some bladder stones removed from one of ours. All came out well she’s fine but I needed a drink after I got the bill!

No but I would like to hear the quote they would give to someone who has as many as I have. It would probably be good for a sticker shock moment!!

My buddy has three dogs. Those are his kids. He told me that after all the operations that these dogs have had if he didn’t have insurance he be up to his eyeballs in debt.

Our vet is reasonable compared to the emergency vet places we deal with through the rescue. They help where they can but it’s one of those things you just don’t add up. We end up keeping some of the so-called unadoptables I have two here that are glad to see me when I come home but you can’t touch them. Another I can touch most days but at least two or three times a week he acts as though I’m a stranger. My camping and grilling buddy only likes two people in the world. And I could go on and on.

Today's bill wasn't too bad. Two shots and blood draw for heart worm test.

All my Cats I've had over the years have been covered under a Pet insurance policy . It really is very helpful when they get into their senior years

I however have very good Healthcare with Gunny my new Kitten !! . Since I rescued / adopted him from a local Veterinarian . They're providing him with almost free healthcare or very little cost to me . Also since I'm a Veteran I'm also getting a discount on his health care as well

Just recently especially after Gunny's failed flight off his cat tree . His medical bills have very reasonable compared to what I was expecting . I had one bill from last weeks visit for a doctor's check up on and vaccines for Gunny

Total bill for that day was $165 , as I walked up to the counter to pay for his vet visit she asked me to hold on minute and came back to the counter a few minutes later . She told me the revised total for that visit was now only $35 . And that is how I found out about the clinic paying for his vaccines and discounts on medical Check ups

    Chik-fil-a is open that early??

I feel ya. I had fasting blood test this morning. Lab opened at 8:30, was done by 9:00 AM, and then went down the block to Wendy's to grab some breakfast. We finished dinner at around 7:30 PM last night, so well over 12 hours with no food or coffee this morning.
