    I have a local credit union. That's why. Their cards aren't capable of that.

    My point was I can maybe see trying that pretentious shit at Starbucks. At a fast food chain where there's one pot of drip coffee and your choice of cream of sugar? :crazy:

    Didn't matter where it was. Her problem was usually the amount of cream in it. If the coffee wasn't the same color as a cardboard box, she'd bitch about it. I guess because she worked at a coffee shop, she figured it wasn't hard to do, but at the same time, she should know how it is when the place is slammed.

    I FoRgOt yOu gUyZ....

    We have the same tech, clown. Like everywhere, sometimes you get a place that has t upgraded yet, or maybe your credit union doesn't have that option, or maybe it was a drive thru and they don't have the card machines outside in the weather where the meese can lick them. :goingcrazy::duel::D

    FWIW ... since we are talking coffee ... I have very inexpensive tastes in coffee .... :)

    Dunkin = 1st :drool:

    Tie for 2nd and 3rd = QT and McDonalds.

    Starbucks is too strong/bitter for me ... :puke:

    My favorite coffee is cà phê sữa đá. (Vietnamese iced coffee). Any place I know of that sells it isn't open early. I go to Honey Dew, sometimes Dunkin. Starbucks is meh. Sometimes I'll get a Java frappe with 2 espresso shots, but then it's a $9 coffee.

    There was a Tim Hortons in my area for a short time. Their coffee wasn't bad.

    We take our coffee pretty seriously at our house. :eek:

    CB3EC14D-DD54-4C94-9771-9CE3C730F307.jpg

    when I remodeled our kitchen this was an important feature my wife wanted.
    The machine is a light commercial Technivorm Mocca Master

    our go-to coffee is “pleasant morning buzz” which is a house brand (365) at Whole Foods and actually pretty inexpensive.

    Having been away all week in Maryland, this is my first homemade coffee all week. :oops:
