Goodyear UltraTerrain AT

Joined the club as well with these today, running 265/75r16 10 ply on factory wheels. So far driving around today with a mix of highway and city there's no glaring issues yet. Comparing to the KO2s I ran on my previous truck they seem similar but hard to compare being a different vehicle. Interested to see how these are after some long term testing.

Guys - looking to grab my first pair of UTs. Was looking at Falkens, BFG KO2s, and these. Only thing that I'm questioning is no mileage rating. For guys that have run these especially multiple sets, what sort of mileage can I expect?

@Discount Tire is there any warranty associated with this tire or do you have to purchase the certificates? Great looking tire, looking to replace the stocks on my 3rd gen. First time on TW, lots of great info thanks

The Goodyear Ultra terrains are a solid choice and tend to work well for many folks. We do offer the optional certificate program that would offer the best protection for the tires. Outside of this the tires are covered under Goodyear's standard workmanship/material defect warranty. There is no mileage warranty.

Great post with all the beta. Trying to decide between Ultraterrain AT, Cooper Rugged Trek and potentially Falken WP. Will be a year round tire for mountain town in Colorado so lots of snow, boat ramps and dirt roads (in addition to short commutes). Replacing stock tires which are sketchy in the snow.

Anyone with experience between the three?

 

I'm sure someone with experience in CO snow & trails can answer your question, but wanted to toss one more option out there... Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT. They are more expensive, but currently have a $100 rebate that closes the gap. They are similar to the Cooper but have a lot more siping.

 

Thanks for the input, they look like awesome tires but not sure i want to commit to the weight as they look quite a bit heavier than the Coopers.

 

Sorry… I didn’t see where you had specified size. My suggestion was based on my experience, comparing 16” tires.
