Looks good for carbon wrap. I've found it to not be nearly as stretchy or forgiving as a regular non-textured vinyl

It was a PiA. I buy this from Amazon. I can lift and stretch it a lot before final heat and shrink. It is thick as well so hopefully should hold up to rocks and crap.

depends on where you'll be riding- tight canyon roads, urban streets, the super moto rules! open highway though, not so much.

I've had their white carbon fiber on my BMW for a little over 3 years. I'm amazed at how well it's held up. I also have a bit on my helmet, too, to cover up some red stripes that came on it.

That is a nice ride. Could never bring myself to buy BMW for some reason. I always think of BMW as refined and I like my bikes rough and tumble if that makes sense.

    Would love their S1000RR though.

Nice man! That's exactly where I plan to take it first. Will also try to have a go on the West Camino fire road to see how they handle in a little dirt. I haven't been to divide peak in a while, but will probably give that a go too.

i found my supermotos handles fine in the dirt, its how you react to loss of traction that determines the outcome, haha.
anyways, i had to sell my hopped up husqvarna 610sm when i had my son, i stopped riding and got back into mtb so it just sat. now im back on a africa twin, its kind of like if a super moto had a kid with a sport tourer. I can rip on tight canyons almost as fast as my husky, but the front 21" tire that is only a couple inches wide will lose traction if i push too hard. but, i can cruise at highway speeds and not wind out the motor doing it just to keep up with the flow.

Those are nice, but huge. I never noticed until one parked by me at the gym. Next to the Gsxr it looked like it would weight 600 pounds.

it weighs 503 lbs without any accessories in the manual version. despite its weight, it rides light and flickable.

No, but I agree there are guys out there doing amazing things on big bikes. I follow a dude named kirambet who kills it on an Africa twin.

Not a sport, but my very first bike was a ‘84 Yamaha XT250. I could lean that thing in turns to the point I would probably be grinding a puck if I was wearing one. That was a dual sport on semi-knobbies. I wanted to be like Kenny Roberts. :D
