Yikes. Well, they make sections for the whole frame and recommend cutting the bottoms off anyway. Might be worth it to the customer.

I love how the chrome emblem come right out of these canter caps! Did you ever think about trying to match the caps to the wheels?

Just found my first tiny hole in the muffler. Looks like exhaust work is in my future for 2023

 

The factory exhaust is 409 stainless. It has a lot of iron in it which is why it's still rusts. The hardware is Zinc plated steel so it rusts as well.
You've done pretty good getting that long out of your factory exhaust!

 

I see a TRD exhaust in your future . (Actually, just don't buy any part store muffler assembly, as most rot out after a couple years)

It's funny you say that, the truck I just posted, all of the flanges on the exhaust are rotted to nothing, but the bolts/studs/nuts that are on the manifold to the secondary cats looked brand new, it was quite weird to see they held up so well.

 

I am tempted for the TRD or anything 304 stainless. Just don't want anything too loud or any drone. I'm fine with it staying quiet lol if it was a v8 it'd be different

 

I thought about it but it would have involved custom paint - can't powdercoat them cause they're ABS and I was worried a gold or bronze mismatch would look like ass. I figure they'll pick up the silver on the fender flare bolt finish washers. Putting brass screws in the flares to pick up the wheel color. We'll see!

 

@CttAznRanger I think this may just work... Just cut the leafs to size.

Mine is still solid. Hell, Cupcake's old Rav4 had the original muffler at 15 years old.

Mine had the flange go..Toyota dealer noted it in July 2021 with the reframe but it held up another year plus

IMO I would go TRD for yours. I thought about a little more free flowing on mine but it didn't need the entire system plus I don't want to spend a fortune on it

 

I like my TRD a lot. It sounds louder but only when your on it and I don't hear any drone on the highway.
But then again I'm half frigging deaf so maybe don't listen to me. Lol

Yeah, that’s what I was picking up on…good night or breakfast? Pizza at 6:30 Sat Am is good, beer does not usually call to me that early.
