CV Angle?

    It looks like the fins might be touching. So I would spend the $30 plus shipping and install a pair of diff drops. I plan on doing the same with my Tacoma looks about the same as yours. That is how close the fins are.

    Hard to tell from the angle of the pic. Can you slide a 3x5 card or something like that in between the fins on the CV boots? Looks like the rubber is "clean" which could be indicative of the fins touching, but like I said, cant tell from the pic.

    Ok. I messed with my monitor to see if I could tell, and yes, it does seem that the fins are touching. The inner ones are definately touching.

    Ah crud. Well what can I do since I already did the 1" diff drop? If I don't do anything is it really that big of an issue?:confused:

    They dont look lie they are touching that badly. Just keep an eye on them once a day to make sure they arent tearing. Give it a couple weeks, and if all is good, I think you'll be ok.

    Oh you mean the rubber around the joints? I just looked at my buddies Tacoma that is stock height and his are level.
