Is it a true benefit those that have them? My back isn't the healthiest and the lumbar isn't great. So jack or no?

I'd guess it is purely personal preference, everyone is different. That's why some MFGs spend a fortune makin 99-way adjustable electric seats, only to be set once and never moved again by the owner (unless they have multiple drivers).

You will probably get a lot of different opinions. Some people say they were a huge improvement and increased their ride time. Others say they really didn't make much difference. I've gone on several long road trips with my truck without them and it's fine for me. Just had to find the right adjustment on the seat and lumbar support (I have the power driver seat). Once I got it dialed in I never had to touch it again.

I don’t think it’s a magic bullet. You’ll have to try to see if it works for you. I installed them and find long rides to be much more comfortable. Mainly because my legs don’t start feeling “crampy” after a while. YMMV

I had them, they sucked for me so I removed them. They may or may not be exactly what you need.

Here is my advice to you. I had them on my SR5 that had manual seats and I loved them. I took them out and tried putting them in my 2022 Trd off-road but it has electric seats and the front sticks out farther for some reason, thus making them not enjoyable.

I also had the multi-mount and a holster setup but all of that is useless with the new seats (which are great btw).

I have the jackers and mount just sitting in my garage now. May sell.

    Oh look, another mod....
I say yes. The seat jackers primarily help with hip/thigh support. This is great if you're a tall guy with long legs, like me. I'm 6' 2", barefooted. That means I don't have a lot of head room to spare in my truck, especially because I have the sunroof & leather/electric seats. I found a sweet spot for thigh-hip-lumbar support.

The seat jackers don't raise the bottom of your seat, just the thigh area. On long drives (before I installed them), I was in pain. Now, long road trips are a breeze. Plus they were easy to install.

I like mine, it does provide some extra support under your thighs which seems to make me more comfortable and give me less back pain.

Like others have said, I think it’s a personal thing. You can always buy them and try them out. They’re super easy to install. If you don’t like them you could put them up for sale on TW and probably find a buyer within a day.

You could probably take the front bolts out, loosen the rear bolts a turn or so and slip some 1” wood blocks under front mount points then carefully slide in to see what it feels like before shelling out for them. I like them, I’m 5’9” 165 lb. There’s not a lot of space between my legs and steering wheel with these. May be problematic for someone with large legs.

I put them on the driver's side only to try to eliminate the sciatica pain I got on long drives - just couldn't find a seat position that worked. The seat jackers did the trick for me.

How much space is there between the top of the front edge of your seat (when adjusted for you) and the bottom of your thighs?
If there is space, then seat jackers will close the gap. If no space, then you probably don’t need them.

    Enough for now
jack, I’m six foot with a short torso and longer legs, it helps a ton. Wife is built similar, not as tall, and enjoys them too. I have them on both front seats

I'm 5' 10" / 150 lbs with a 30" inseam. I had to sit with my knees kind of splayed out and after about two hours on the road my knees would be sore. After the seat jackers, I can drive all day with no issues.

I have the base model without the height-adjustable seat, and the seat jackers basically let me set it up like I do in cars with power or height-adjustable seats where I have the back all the way down and the front all the way up (for max thigh support).

If I could get seats like from a BMW with those extendable thigh supporters, I'd be in heaven.

I have a power seat, but after adding the front and back, i was finally able to make the driving more enjoyable. But like others have said, it’s a personal choice. For some it provides a solution, others it doesn’t. For me it worked. Also I got the real ones not the Chinese rip-offs.

Helped change the seating position from car to truck for me. More upright and on top of the wheel. I like them.

I have read that taller people really benefit from the. I am 6' so hopefully they help me. I bought a knockoff version for 1/3 the price. We'll see when I get em

I can’t imagine they won’t do the job. Yeah there might not be any precision machining and powder coating like the ones from DDI but should work. I was debating getting knockoffs but people liked the DDIs enough to where they thought they were worth the money.

I would say worth it. Bought some for my drivers seat and wouldn’t go back. You get so much more leg support especially in that section of your thigh right behind the knee. You won’t regret it. You sit higher too. Then I’ll go and sit in my passenger seat and will think I’m sitting so low haha
