Speaking of dragons

Ah you're in a culinary arts school, not a cooking school. Fascinating stuff, but kinda takes a while to get practical

 

I've bought cheese just cause of how they looked many times at different stores/delis

I honestly underestimated the whole curriculum, but hey it's personal growth so I'll be taking in as much as I can.

 

Hey, afterward you could be like chef material. That's pretty cool. You could be like one of those guys that knows all the food shortcuts. Like how you can basically make a cake by adding baking powder and flour to ice cream.

 

Super conservative raccoon from a religious tree meets raccoon with locs and a nose ring who ran from the same tree.

 

Did you get out the conservative values bingo board. The free space is "you need the Lord".

 

Working on a black out for sure.

 

You get to mark it on two boards if you hear "we could fix your hair" or "oh do they hurt (in regards to piercings)"

 

That's the stuff I'm looking forward to!

And it's interesting learning the terminology for things some of us already do like reductions, liaison, and more.

The class is broken up into two types of cooks/chefs but only after the initial course or two.

I'm in culinary arts, but opted for Baking and Pastry Specialist one other student and I will do that while the others learn cuisines from different parts of the world

I'm not a big sweet stuff person, so I usually stay away from pastries and most other baked goods. But I love me some good rustic breads.
