Yea I'd recommend doing at least a drain/fill every 60k or 5 years whatever comes first. I did mine at like 38k miles because the truck was already 6 years old when I bought it.

I'm sure it's fine. Just do it yourself or have it done soon

    All stock, baby!
No. In fact, I'd say it looks very, very good. Seriously, if the rest of the frame has just that minor rust around the welds, you're totally fine.

As others have mentioned, an important place to check is in the boxed section next to the catalytic converters, that's where a problem can start and remain hidden until it's a big problem. I doubt you'll find anything going on there.

Yeah, I think I'll do it myself after winter. looks like father of tacos has a simple enough explanation to follow.

I'm still learning the undercarriage anatomy, where is the catalytic converter exactly?

There are 2, one on each side right where the frame goes from C channel to boxed under the driver ans passenger doors.

look at 4:36 on that video, the silver cover bulbous thing to the right of the bucket, with the exhuast pipes going in and coming out is one. theres one on the other side of the frame also, right and left side.
