Big shout out to @daveeasa for having these wiring harnesses to make it possible to install oem LED headlights. Install was straight forward and pretty easy. Also installed a miller cat shield and TRD skid plate.

Over the past few weeks I have been fortunate enough to add some goodies to the Taco and I must say I’m loving the way she’s running. I was tossing up the idea of doing an LS swap (Which I still plan to do but far into the future now). It’s hard to justify pulling out such a reliable engine so “young” (Only 23,000 miles). Goodies include:

    URD Spec - U Exhaust
    URD Power Extractor Pipes
    URD Short Throw Shift
    URD Oil Catch Can
    Injen Intake
    CSF Performance Radiator
    RIPP Coil Packs

AC here too. You can add Matt Gecko's light (which I'll do someday) or add some solars.

What manufacture PPF for headlights did you go with? How was the install? I tried the WeatherTech ones and buggered them up.

Knocked out the suspension install today! Started early in the morning to make sure I had time to get it aligned at a shop.
Front UCA through-bolt removal was wild; glad I was able to get them out! Neighbor saw me struggling with the passenger side and he helped out with pipe wrenches
Rear took longer than usual because my Harbor Freight grinder pooped out on me mid grinding. Ended up upgrading my grinder to Milwaukee since I had a handful of M18 tools already

    Digging the look!

    6112's set at #4/#5
1/4" top plate spacer both sides for a total of 2" lift in the front
    Bilstein B8 UCA's
    5160's in the rear
    Icon 1.5" add-a-leaf.

Absolutely love the ride quality. I've read about "stiffer than stock" but I don't think that's the phrase I would use. The front doesn't feel mushy anymore and doesn't nose dive when braking. Rear feels like it's got more to give and more predictable with the more progressive rate. I would say that the shocks have a better dampening and handle so much better than stock. Ready to test them out at Big Sur in December!

30 day ban. Is that the minimum?

Today I did the 60K service on my Tacoma.

    -Changed engine oil & filter
-Rear Diff drain and fill (mine is a 2wd, so no front diff or transfer case)
    -Transmission drain and fill
    -Replaced spark plugs
-Replaced engine & cabin air filter
-Changed the stock intake to the TRD air accelerator. (We’ll see if it actually makes a difference)
-Tire rotation (and possibly new tires) coming soon

Thanks to many helpful YouTube videos, doing services like the transmission fluid and spark plugs were a lot easier. That said, neither was a simple and quick task. Watching someone do it and actually doing it yourself are totally different. I learned a lot that will help the next time I do it. The drivers side portion of the spark plug change is considerably more time consuming and challenging than the passenger side.

As you will see below there was definitely some metal shavings collected on the magnets in the transmission pan.

It was a long day but worth it! I did everything for close to $800 less than my local dealers would’ve charged.

I want to install a TRD air intake but don’t want to use the oiled air filter. Anyone have any experience with installing one with just the standard filter

Was it a pain to drop the transmission pan and reinstall? Also what made you decide on the spark plug change at 60k?

I didn't want to create a new thread but my '22 with less than 5,000 miles has some really weird groaning/clunking noises from the front end at low speeds. It reminds me of the loud Total Chaos UCA's I had on my 2nd gen. Is this something that other 3rd gen owners report from time to time on here as well?
