:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Good day for not much! Son coming over for the Horns game and burgers. That's the plan. Wow, two days in a row without leaning into the engine on the truck!

It's an "acceptable" not too expensive Kenwood that went obsolete as soon as I got it. But it has HD, SiriusXM (with an adapter), front and rear cam input that I use, presets, "hands free" phone, more presets than I need. I discovered the gauges quite by accident after a Discount Tire tech knocked the OBD port loose. Has tire pressure monitors, Engine Light (that will show codes!), and two screens with somewhat selectable gauges. Once I found it, it's been very handy. (For stereo, it lacked any more power than stock - I added amps later).
(it was about $100 less when I got it) Amazon.com: Kenwood DDX774/ DDX774BH DDX774 2 DIN Receiver W/Bluetooth and HD Radio : Everything Else

Another "I hope so day!" No one in the Big12 likes Texas, so we always get the best they got. Sanders MIGHT be out for OSU, that would make a difference. If Texas plays their "new" A game all day (and doesn't start lounging on a lead), it should be a win. I cannot GUESS at what a final score might be!!
    Go BC!

Final score...it's the Big 12...so 41-38 sounds reasonable.

I think my guys are getting curbstomped by Wake today. So many injuries this year.
Probably shouldn't mention this so I don't get on your "list" but I was at the BC 14 #7Texas 13 game in '76. Erxleben had a bad snap on his first attempt, missed a 35yd attempt which was certainly out of character for Russell, and missed a 53yd on last play of the game after a 15 yd roughing penalty gave him a shot at the win. It was a wild night in Chesnut Hill. That was our best win since beating the Aggies in College Station in '73. Oddly enough, we're 3-1 all- time against A&M

Well, you're forgiven. At that time I was in Niles MI. (South Bend IN), so old Notre Dame was my home team. Got to a couple games with my bartender friend (I was a sound man in a night club then), quite the experience! I was dive bombed by the Air Force falcon! Didn't get to go to that game, but you could hear the stadium the day that they brought out the green and gold jerseys to play USC! I thought it was a train behind the house! Some guy named Montana was the QB back then....

Well, my buddy put his grandson in a position to get a shot at a doe with the crossbow, he didn't shoot! We are doing our part, last year he missed a buck with the rifle, now he decided not to try for the doe! :notsure:

    Good morning fellow Porchatonians!!

Lynn and I enjoyed Happy Hour at our new bar Friday evening.

I crewed a hot air balloon flight yesterday morning - then came home and cut some grass.

Another flight scheduled for this morning - then finish off cutting grass and picking up leaves.

We'll pick up a grocery order, first thing this am, and get the latest greatest C booster shot while in town. This is THE never-ending saga. Might be worth it, with turkey day family assembly looming. Stay safe.

Good morning, everyone Happy Sunday! Had a great time at my Nieces yesterday. I was able to sample quite a few Indian cuisine dishes. They were all spiced up just right for me. I really enjoyed the food. Later my sister told me the spice level was mild! Holy "you know what" if that is mild, I really do not want extra spice. The Housewarming was also a celebration of Diwali, a wonderful celebration.

Up early today and off to the farmers market in our town. Either this week or next week is the last week for the market this season. Going to try and fix a broken Keurig coffee maker today now that I cleaned off the workbench yesterday. LOL

Good morning folks. I’m not a regular on this thread, forgive me. Had the family over to my haunted yard for our annual Halloween season bonfire…

    Morning all:

He wants to hunt, no one forced him into it, no different than trapping that poor mouse that invaded your house, or squishing that poor spider that the wife is afraid of, or impaling that poor worm on a hook, the difference is that those free range "mountain beef" are quite tasty! :)
Little different, but so far we noticed 5 places along the road where there were buzzards over deer carcasses that were hit by cars, it's unreal how many deer and other animals are killed by cars in Pa., some people salvage road kills if they aren't too bad, but what a waste of an animal just trying to go about its daily life. A couple of years ago there were 4 or 5 deer laying alongside the road within about a 100yd. stretch, and a long time ago I found 5 or 6 dead alongside a small stream after a major heavy ice storm, apparently they pulled into a steep hollow to weather the storm and couldn't get back out and thus starved to death.
Just saying, hunters at least get to enjoy their harvest and not have the waste associated with the many other causes of a deer's demise, I for one would rather see a hunter harvest a nice buck than see it laying on or alongside the road after being hit by a vehicle, and I have seen hundreds of them, possibly thousands, over the years. :( JMO!!!!!
