I was thinking about asking $28k for it as-is, so I suppose I’ll start there and see if I get any traction. Guess I’ll have to give it some detail love this weekend.

And get the oil changed. No one wants to buy a vehicle they have to immediately do maintenance on

Anyone have a good to go pass on a 2018+ Tacoma with the TSS gizmo? Where are you mounting your pass? I'm thinking I'll just get a license plate pass for the Tacoma and put my "free" sticker pass in the other car. There's already enough junk on the windshield, plus I have a dash camera behind the mirror.

That blows. The license plate pass is gonna ring you up for tolls anytime that you hit a sensor. Although, you could cover it if your going to meet the occupancy requirement on 167. You'd be generally hosed on 405.

What about the lower left corner of the windshield, where inspection stickers would be in other states? That way, it is mostly out of sight and still flickable?

I don't generally drive 167 or 405, so it's mainly for the Narrows bridge on camping trips. Though that is a concern for me. It does say for the license plate mounted one "If you carpool on the I-405 express toll lanes, you will need to take additional steps to drive toll-free. Please contact customer service for more information." - so maybe there is a method to avoid tolls?

    also...

Interesting. I had not heard about those additional steps. Haha!

On my bikes, they could be installed just about anywhere that was away from metal. My pretty much all metal bike never had much of an issue, but my bike with lots of plastic rung up many false charges until I tucked the license plate.

Before the stupid toll lanes went active, I took both bikes to the CS center to check them since neither pass could be installed on the headlights. Both scanned well. I don't think they do that anymore and have closed the Bellevue office, I think?

For cars, I know a lot of folks that toss them on their dash and have no issues. I did get rung up once in the snow when I think the thicker part of the wiper arm swiped by as I was going under a gantry. I would have fought it, but I was using the pass this is registered to our Forester. Couldn't quite argue that one even though there were four of us in the Taco. Hahaha!

Yeah, I'm a bit of a late adopter on this one. I went through the Narrows toll both 5 or 6 times this year with the trailer, which was enough to make me think I should get a pass.

I like the idea of setting it on the dash. I may try that too, low risk if it doesn't work.

Yeah. I recently broke down with a pass for the Taco also.

You can certainly get a refund a time or two if it doesn't work.

Glad I moved over here where we don’t have to deal with bullshit passes like that. Or fuckin RTA fees that make tabs outrageous.

Little Moab photo dump from my trip there this last week to cheer your rainy day up.

Got to stop by Warfab on the way there, and did some testing on a new set of their sliders. Needless to say put everything through as much abuse as a Tacoma can see, and did Pritchett Canyon and Coyote Canyon (youtube it, for fun and to see why my truck is slightly scratched and why I was asking for headlights/tailights in the b/s/t ).

I'm super picky about armor and how it functions, especially sliders. My old set, I changed the way they were about 4 times and ended up bending the living sh*t out of them, so was time for some new ones anyways. Believe these are the perfect Tacoma slider finally!

Wow. The lights might have tossed up a white flag, but the Taco itself looks like a champ.

Some good custom body lines now, but overall the truck held up great for being forced through a buggy trail.
