    I didn't consider the scorpions.

I'm not particularly afraid of them or anything, I just don't like them.

I'm sure you've seen the roads covered in tarantulas out there when they would be out for breeding season.

I never once saw a tarantula or a giant centipede and it wasn't for a lack of trying. I poked around in washes with lights at night and had zero luck.

I mean I can get pretty hurt on a motorcycle so I can only imagine you could really get fucked up on a single wheel. I kind of don't blame him.

They're over $2,500 for one of those on Amazon. Even more for a nicer one.

There's a bunch of door dashers in Boulder who do this, gotta look both ways when entering the sidewalk lest you get wrecked lol

And the onewheel goes to what, 35 mph or something? That probably hurts lol

I don't know where that picture was taken, but... if it's in a congested urban area, the one-wheel is probably faster, cheaper to operate and park, doesn't need a special (or any) license, and you can even take it with you on the bus/train if you're in a multimodal mood.

That said, I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable riding one in traffic even with all that gear. Those things can go scary fast. And this opinion is coming from someone who rode bicycles through downtown Chicago traffic for years.

    Yeah they do.

I just try to look at it from both perspectives.

They don't require a license which basically tells people they can ride them wherever. This can pose as a hazard whether it's with pedestrians on the sidewalk, bicycles in the bike lane, and vehicles where they don't follow rules if they do use the bike lane.

On the plus side, it's cheaper and requires no license.

In that situation, I'd rather ride a motorcycle.

It was in Clovis, just 15mins from where I live.

Came out to pick up a free computer and some dog toys at Petsmart.

But the area is not congested at all, both with vehicles or foot traffic. I mean good on him for protecting himself but such an investment and I'm thinking, just get a motorcycle.

My buddy bought a house for his mom and gave me this reel hose he found in the basement....retails for $500 new because it's for a commercial pressure washer setup I guess lol

I have a car wash bay with floor drain in the shop and I guess I could put it up even though the dia is a little smaller than a regular garden hose.
