Ford puts the same Goodyear Kevlars on their new F350 as we get on the Tacoma. This happened to me the other day at work, Fresh built road where the excavator had to break into bedrock to make the road.

Great views of the north cascades. Lots of burned trees from past wildfires though.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
That bites. They are terrible tires. Four years ago I blew 2 on my first day offroad with my Tacoma. Did not have the cash to get new tires after buying the truck, but found the cash that day to get a set of BFG KO2.

The first set of KO2s did about 100 offroad trips on lots of shale and sharp rock, and no issues. 10 ply generally have no issues with sharp rock on the sidewalls, within limits of course.

The Kevlar tires look the part, but sharp rocks do them in quick.

Laguna mountain ridge just NE of Yuma arizona. Not too technical at all but the ridge drops of both sides pretty sharply for almost the entire ~7 miles. Definitely a little bit of a psychological factor :rofl:
