Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Not so sure that project was really needed. Most of the Parkway is 2 lane. Might be nice to have some turn lanes at the overviews . Mabrey Mill can get a little congested at times. Just hate to see the mountains get butchered.

 

I don't understand why they are doing it either, especially right there.

I was going to pull a @koditten and weld a nut on this one, until I hit it with the grinder. Used the ole cheapo air wrench and hammered it for a couple minutes and it gave up. Luckily I didn’t mess up the paint.

We stopped at a place yesterday and they had candy bins. I haven’t seen these in years so I started loading up. The kids came over and said “mom, dad is over the limit”. I said yawl better hush, momma don’t need to know about this

 

Lower expectations are much easier to achieve! Just sayin'...

Huh... I have a 440 and it's flawless. The one thing I will say for Husqvarna though... fuel makes ALL the difference. I only run premium, ethanol-free fuel with a shot of stabilizer and carb-cleaner added to the can, and only use Husqvarna oil. Starts every time, second pull and cuts like a beast.

mid-40s-mid 50s vintage; the seat configuration is as-built. No idea why, but for reason the bigger ACs were built like that. Maybe they expected the operators to bring a BIG lunch box in those days?

 

Probably 25 years ago I bought a big Jonsered chainsaw (2065 turbo), the dealer told me:

"These are high performance engines, do this and you won't have trouble":
1) use the highest octane you can get (long before ethanol)
2) use a premium oil
3) put a bit of stabilizer in every mix
4) only mix what you are going to use in a week
5) run the fuel out if it is going to sit

I have been doing just that for all these years, he was right.

It took FAR too long to figure out but I think I've finally got a server set up to save a still shot from my newest camera every 10 minutes.

The way I was doing it before no longer works because Dropbox decided to set a time limit on the connection from indefinite to 4 hours so the camera works great as long as you remember to reset the connection 6 times each day.
