This looks great. Just watched a you tube vid on it. Might be giving this a try.

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
That's odd. My 2022 SR5 came with the cutouts and the wiring was there. Great mod since mine has the OEM tri-fold cover which IMO is a PITA compared to the roll up from my last truck. I'll probably list it for sale as soon as I have the 30 days required to sell it here.

@Rocket23 @sparctian @TVphotog97 Oem bed lights weren’t offered until ‘20. You won’t be prewired for them but the OEMs aren’t even that great. Check out some of the illumination pics and imagine trying to see the front of the bed with lights shining directly in your face. The Matt geckos are the way to go

I see! Thank you for the clarification... I wasn't thinking I was missing out on much compared to the LED strips. Not being pre-wired for it might stink a little but wouldn't be hard to solve. Maybe I'll put a junction box somewhere under the bed or behind something as I have a lot more things planned for electric, like adding the inverter/socket. Thinking out loud here...

I enjoy the use of a Motorola Wireless AA dongle, and mine is still hanging down like yours. I'm going to tape it to the underside of the cubby or "relocate it" into the glove box. For the life of me, why didn't they use a full switch opening for the USB port?

Is there a means to install heated seats as a kit?

Well, the SQUEAK came back about 3 days after my last post, so this weekend I was back at it. So I unbolted the front bushing, removed bolt, removed sleeve, removed bushings, re-greased EVERYTHING and reassembled. And guess what happened when I jumped on the rear bumper? SQUEAKKKKKKKKK!!!:frusty:

So this means, the squeak comes from between the frame bushing MOUNT, and the poly BUSHING. I don't want to remove the bushing, again, so what is the thickest, longest lasting, most effective grease/lube that can be sprayed between these two items to STOP this squeak? tia.

I noticed when I changed my oil at 5000 that the dipstick drags a quite a bit on the way into the tube. I didn't think much of it, completely forgot about until I went to check oil a little while ago. This is what I found after I took the dipstick out, reinstalled then pulled it again. Those are metal shavings, going right into the oil everytime the dipstick is pushed down the tube.PXL_20221024_173728979.jpg

So, I eased all the edges with a buffing wheel. Smooth as butter now. It's the little things...

You know, maybe I should check mine. Mine has a shit ton of resistance to it, so maybe it's gouging up the walls and putting metal right into my oil...

Adjusted my parking brake line guide on left rear. I think I'll do the same with the right rear next weekend. Didn't require any drilling, just removal of an existing bolt and reassembly. Cheers.Guide-1.jpg

You're quite welcome. The corners of my dipstick were quite sharp, I don't imagine others being much different. 'Tis an easy fix, though now I want to change my oil!

I like the way you roll, definitely doing that. It’s the attention to detail that makes a huge difference!
