^Yep, more rain there in WA than England apparently.

But you would smell the antifreeze if that was the cause. And I believe the OP indicated this has been going on for two years.

You might consider changing out the cabin filter and check for any water/humidity at that opening. I've had plenty of leaves on the filter so I assume water can get in under certain conditions.

It doesn’t rain everyday for 10 months a year but yes it rains and snows and is foggy… a lot. Snow is on the ground from late September through July in some parts of the state. More rain than England? Remember the Olympic peninsula is a rain forest for fucks sake.

Maybe you acquired a flood truck. They never seem to fully dry out, unless you take the time to remove interior pieces and get airflowing thru the vehicle.

Are you in Vancouver or the lower mainland? I am and my truck takes a looooong time to get rid of the mist on the windows. I'm not a big fan of the hvac system in this truck; it just doesn't move enough air. Some second gens had issues with the fan resistor for the blower motor burning out. I may replace mine, as I am unsure if my fan is moving as much air as it can. Cracking one of your side windows down an inch will create a positive pressure difference and help move air through the system.

There's a number of things that can cause your problem. A leaking heater core, like what's been mentioned, you'd probably smell coolant and the windows inside would have a oily film on them. Getting armor all on them. I had a car that a previous owner did that, the windows seemed to stay foggy.

I read somewhere tips on defrosting your windows. The biggest factor was the temperature difference between inside and outside. So I'll lower the windows a little, squirt the sprayers and turn on the wipers, blast the defroster on high hot. One thing I've found that works very quickly is to dump hot water on the windows. It doesn't get cold enough where I live to freeze so I don't need to worry about cracking.

Some of this Some of that
My ac compressor is broken, my truck does the same thing. The ac is used with defroster. Without the dry air from the ac system the truck fogs up like crazy. Oem brand compressor is made by Delphi btw

Your first post said 9/10 months a year lol (that reads "nine out of ten"). You must have meant 9-10, lighten up.

    9 to 10 is what I meant. I didn’t realize 9/10 translated to 9 of 10. My bad.

Ive experienced this whenever my floor mats get wet or Ive left a wet beach towel inside. Should feel your carpet for any moisture to rule out leaks
