    Ah, that's good to note.

I'll probably start with the hose/clamp and then keep an eye on things. Thanks!

I went with OEM for a new blower motor, resistor and pigtail. It was not that expensive and I have had 0 issues since.

Thanks. I ended up pulling the lower dash out and using self tapping screws on the metal brace that helps hold up the steering column. I don't have any open switch blanks so I drilled into the dash also. Hard to see it in these pics but this spot is super solid.

Yesterday I prepped my truck for a road trip I'm planning next weekend with my folks. Oil/oil filter change, tire rotation, checked brake pads, other fluids.

After all that was done I backed it onto the driveway to run a bit and get the new oil going. Then shut it off to recalibrate tire positions with my center console radio; it has a neat feature to give tire pressure/temp readouts in real time for each wheel but the positions need to be updated any time you rotate them. After a few minutes of doing that, I went to move her back into the garage. Keys in ignition, *click* ..... sheeeeeeit.

After a few battery voltage tests and a few attempts of "contact impulse recalibration" of the starter motor using a metal rod, I noticed sparks off of one of the leads into the starter motor. Turns out one of the connectors was badly rusted and loose on the nut. Giving the nut an additional ugga dugga was enough to get the truck cranking again, but before the trip I'll need to clean it up and throw on some dielectric grease to keep it clean. Much better than springing for a new battery or starter motor at least.

Luck you found the before your trip and it was an easy fix.

Still waiting for a few parts but you get the idea. ETA- it's a portable diesel heater for those who are not familiar with these. Powered by an Ecoflow solar generator and mounted on a folding tire step to keep it off the ground and allow the exhaust to not be too close to the ground. The short pipe will be swapped for a longer one that will reach my tent.

Pretty sure you’re right there, my owners manual is long gone but my driveshaft has no fittings. Which is a shame cause I’ve already had one U-joint die on me.

Im pretty sure im just gonna pull the driveshaft and take it to a driveline company and just have new carrier bearing and ujoints put in and shaft balanced. I dont think i need ujoints but might as well start with new ones just torn on weather i want to grease ujoints or be lazy and get sealed ones

Got tires mounted on my newly powder coated FJ Cruiser wheels. Gotta say, I am excited on putting the lift on in a week or two.
