How can I tell if my hydroseed grass is germinating?

My other issue is heavy rain is floating my grass seeds. I know something was going to go wrong.

You can see seeds sprouting, but depends on temps, id think it will be too cool at night for seed to grow. I could be wrong.

This is what I'm was thinking, but hoping isn't.

I want the grass to be a little thicker, fuller be it goes dormant.

If I look straight down I can see dirt, but if I look at the grass from a angle it looks good.

    Definite different.

I wonder what it taste like. I'm not that brave.

I had a idea of using tuna in a egg white omelette, with onions, green peppers . High protein.

So I had my ex tried it first. I'm still getting yelled at so I guess it was safe.

Can anyone help me identify this pest, it’s fairly white? I can’t seem to collect any and look at it closely, fairly wide spread and disappears when you try to touch it. Not sure the cause but I think it’s affecting my yard. I’ve seen it before but usually only up north.

Last night was the end of our garden for the year. We knew the temp was going to drop so we harvested as much as we could. This morning everything was toast.

We pulled pepper and tomato plants out past weekend. Carrots are still in the ground, potatoes are looking good.
Will start building more raised beds next month, need to move my strawberry patch, its drip irrigation, and use that spot for corn and potatoes next year (prior owners had goats, and soil is very rich there).
Walnuts are drying out, hoping to peel and crack them soon.

Got curious and looked at the PH levels on tomatoes and red bell peppers.

With tomatoes ranging in at 4.3 to 4.9 on the PH scale. Then the red peppers at 4.65 to 5.45 on the PH scale. According to a Google search.

There's a small difference in PH.

Can a small increase in PH have a big effect on my stomach?

Your stomach acid has a pH of 1.5-3.5, so it is more acidic than tomatoes or peppers.

For those who do not know what walnut fruit looks like.

    IMG_20221008_154830030_HDR.jpg IMG_20221004_190858794.jpg

Black nuts in the bottom pic are almost dry.
Next step is to run a car over them, to break of the skins, then crack the nuts.
Skins are very thick and stain fingers, plus shells crack easier when they dry.
We soak nuts in lemon juice water for 5 min before drying, it kills the worms.

PS FYI cold water with lemon juice is a great all around fruit and vegetable cleaner. We use is on everything, from blackberries and blueberries (1 min) to peaches, apples, pears, tomatoes, nuts, etc.

PPS we get 100 to 200 nuts from one tree. Need to walk the property and look for more walnut trees. Usually where there is one, there is more.

I know, the stomach acid has to break down the food.

By eating tomatoes, does it increase the stomach acid, make it more acidic?

Nope, to make it more acidic you’d need something with a lower pH
