Did that one show? Sometimes it's the source that they don't like. I just did a quick snip, so there's a little missing, but you get the idea.

Messed around with that but didn't like it. Might go back sometime and play around with bike position.

Does anyone have experience with both the CBR300 and R3 or CB300R and MT-03? I've been considering a little bike to rip around town and backroad twisties on. I don't really have the need for anything bigger. I've had my time with those.

I like the numbers on the Yamaha's, but with the Honda.....I already have the Rally, so it'll be the sameish bike.

And b/c we all like pics :D

    None... yet.
What about the Ninja or Z 400? I think once I get over my newb fascination with the big bikes, that'll be my sweet spot... or maybe a CB650R... or, ah who knows!

Kawasaki is the only Japanese bike I haven't owned. I've never had that "loving feeling" for them :D I just Googled them, and I do like the white versions.....so they're a distant "maybe" :D

Are you looking for a specific price point? The R7 is a great price for what you get at around 9k. The SV650 is a great bike. There is also the gsx 250r, but I don’t know much about them.

You could always get a Kawasaki H2 Carbon

I've looked at the R7 and CBR500R. My concern will be that I love the R7....which will lead to me wanting a T7 over the Rally. No way can I swing that

I guess I want to stay 5K and below. I'm really enjoying this little Rally for what it is. I know if I get on a more powerful bike.....then the Rally won't be enough. The local Honda dealer has a CBR300, and I may go check out the Yamaha shop and see if they have a R3.

@uurx where are the hot lap videos? Daughter made it around for the first time without putting a foot down.

Called Denali to check on my backordered lights, the only thing holding the order from shipping is the fender mount bracket, which might be in stock mid November.
My thought now is do I just get the universal clamp mount and put them near my factory fogs? The only thing is the smallest clamp isn’t small enough for the factory light bar so I would either 3D print a reduced or put some rubber line on the bar to make it thicker.

Pros of putting the lights higher:
    1. Better light usability
    2. Will have them installed faster
    3. Gives a little more flexibility on light mounts

    Cons:
    1. May not look as good
    2. Driving lights won’t turn with forks
    3. Cost a little more

I really liked my KTM 390 Duke and they reside in the $4Ks secondhand usually. If it wasn't for our 80mph freeways around here, I might have kept it as a commuter.

Suggestion.....When I had my Denali lights they came with a sort of squared off U shape bracket that mounted using my front fender bolt. Perhaps until the correct bracket arrives you could use one of those brackets and secure it to each fork tube right below the gaiters using some old inner tube for padding around the fork tube with a hose clamp. That would get your lights mounted and functioning yet easily moved later and they would turn with your forks.

I'm lucky in the fact that if I don't have to get on the interstate around here. Truth be told, I'm not getting another bike. I just really like window shopping  Although, if the new Transalp will compete with the T7......I'm gonna look real hard at one when the used market cools down.

5 1/2. Son is almost 3 and he is itching to ride. He would do perfect on a Stacyc right now. He was riding around with me on my KTM 200 with a huge smile on his face.

Dang I was hoping you were going to say 3 since my son will be there really soon. Hoping to get him the stacyc then. Had him out in the pine barrens this weekend on his strider. Does he see her ride and want to, too?

has anyone seen one of these kubergs in person yet?

    https://kubergfl.com/collections/kids-from-3-to-12-years

the stacyc is great, but its a balance bike in the end

IMHO, the oset being a more traditional trials bike, is the winner if you want to really build moto skills

but i know I am only repeating myself here... :bananadead:

Yes and no. The biggest positive about a stacyc is learning throttle control and brakes. If my daughter started working on throttle control at 3 she would be so much more ahead right now. She already knew brakes from her bike that I started her on early.
