She is just so small, I bet your son is the same size as her. If your son has the strider bike figured out he would love a Stacyc. Yeah the 3 year old wants to ride so bad. He loves it when I take him on the Grom and Dirtbike. I need to get a handlebar pad so he doesn’t smash his face.

i am confused, what does the stacyc offer that the oset does not as far as throttle control? they both have a twist throttle as far as I am aware

for the record i love the stacyc, i just feel in many cases the oset has more of a package to offer over the stacyc

Just looked at the specs of both. The Stacyc has 2 huge advantages for first time riders. Also you can find used Stacyc’s everywhere.
    Stacyc 17lbs - oset 58lbs
    Stacyc $699 -oset $1699

you see now this is a solid reason... I can accept weight and price

throttle control and brake control alone was not a selling point for one over the other.

Other than going electric their isn’t any advantage to the oset over a crf50 :p

My concern with that is I believe it would have the lights mounted sideways, I got the D3’s which you can only mount at 0* or 180* as the lense is setup for a road legal cutoff.

I’m sure I could build a bracket and make it work but I think at this point I’m leaning towards ordering the universal tube mount, printing reducers for them, and mounting the D3’s above the stock fog lights.

But yeah I think the moment he figures out "coasting" on hills he will be ready for the sta-cyc.
