I'm in it until she tells me I can make withdrawals!!

 

My wife is a few years older than me. She has a countdown clock to retirement. She informed me that I will be working til I’m 70 At least I can sleep at night knowing that she’s not gonna take me out with a cast iron skillet!

 

My wife is 7 years older than me and we're opposites; she has no desire to retire and I wish I could never go back.

Side note:
For any poem writers out there...desire and retire go well together. Food for thought

 

My wife is a bit older than I am (but you didn't hear that from me!). She said "we" were going to work until "we" are 65, maybe 67, I wasn't really listening. I said the day you retire is the day I retire.

 

If my wife would retire at 62 (which is next year) I could maybe guilt her into giving me the green light!!
She keeps bringing up this nonsense about money this, money that....

Oh I know! They can be pretty vicious! The whole area wasn't the best either so the pigeons are probably the same. The typical shoes hanging on the telephone wires greeted you as you walked into the park. Before I worked there they had someone hit one of our trucks and ran. Our No.1 rule was that no one went and worked there alone no matter what time of day! Lets say I dont miss working there
