I wonder if a battery powered sawz-all would defeat one?
I have not seen one of those since at least the 90’s.

I saw it at Carlisle several years ago, I have never heard of a vehicle being stolen from the fairgrounds -- not saying it couldn't happen. If someone did steal it I'm confident they could blend right in.

Probably could, I think a grinder would be quicker though.

Yeah, a grinder would be better.
I still haven’t picked up a grinder, but I love my saw.
It’s the best tool I’ve found for pruning back tree limbs.

As much as I’ve grown to dislike Harbor Freight, their pruning blades are half way decent.
But the Porter-Cable blades are better.

    Why the dislike for HF?

I guess some of the blame is on me here.
I’m a sucker for “cheap” tools.

I’ve had the magnets in the nut runners break and come out.
The crows foot wrench just break in half, and I wasn’t over torquing them by any means.
The cheap “freebie” voltages meter leads break the solder joint in the probe and stop reading.
But the worst was when my ac/dc amp meter quit working right after the warranty ran out.
And I only used it 2 times, Because I don’t often use a clap style meter. :goingcrazy:

i like some stuff from HF. I get a lot of expendables like sanding pads, super glue. I do have a jack and stands been going strong for 20+ years

I will agree, you can’t beat their jacks for the price.
I also have a set of their impact sockets that I keep in the truck.
They have started to peen a bit on the square anvil side. But that’s to be expected I guess.

I bought the 29 pound aluminum "race jack" because I needed to raise a staircase and there was no way I was hauling my 90 pound iron floor jack to the job.
That light jack is a sweet piece of gear, so convenient for lighter jobs.

I got the 90 lbs one too.
It’s a chore dragging it across the gravel lot.
    I now use a hand truck.

Nice looking house. I think you need a bigger garage though. I would love to have a three (or more) car garage one day.
Ugh this. I miss my small apartment. Cheap, easy to clean, plus you don’t buy a bunch of junk because there’s nowhere to put it.
Their tools are junk. They certainly serve a purpose, but the QC is horrendous.

Every guy needs a garage, great place to clear your head and relieve stress and anxiety.

So you approve of the roof lines? My biggest complaint is that the "master bedroom" is worthless...

It doesn't have a walk-in closet or dual sinks, and more importantly no door. It seems like it would be pretty easy for the kid(s) to walk in on mom and dad while they're doing the deed...

I've seen those before, but I always thought they were just older Hiluxes. Does that truck have 3-on-the-tree?!?!

I would not want to ruin the proportions of the house by increasing the size of the gargage; I would add a detached 3-car garage or perhaps a 2-car garage with a large workshop. I would also expand the far right 1st floor bedroom backwards a little bit so I could add a large bathroom and at least one walk-in closet. This plan's so-called "master bedroom" comprises the entire 2nd floor and is absolutely useless for use as a master bedroom. As if the lack of even ONE walk-in closet wasn't bad enough, you will notice that the stairs just go right upstairs, and that there are no doors or even any walls; I cannot help but wonder if any mommies and daddies who actually had this plan built ever had their kid(s) walk in on them while they were "snuggling"... :D
