So I don’t really collect them like you all but friends always buy me and Porsche they seem to find so none of these I have bought I just get them handed to me at work haha the only one I paid for was the tacoma replica of my old truck

Here are a few cars from last night...another "grown man" was there before I arrived and hovering over them...LoL....he asked if these were for my son...as I replied, I pluck a car or two that I saw before he got them...and said no, for me.

 

I forgot I purchased this 5 car set from local HEB grocery store a few weeks ago. Happy Halloween--

Went to a yard sale Saturday...actually, a guy advertised on Marketplace all these hot wheels in boxes and random other diecast toys and placed a date and time for viewing/purchase. When I arrived, they were all scattered on the driveway with his kids wiping the dust off the plastic. I told the girl you don't need to do that, as someone will buy them dusty lol. Apparently his or his wife's father passed away and all of his collection was laid out on the pavement for sale. Most of it was in fair shape...2 to 3 bucks for hot wheels cars and other cars were $5. Some 5 car sets were $15 and larger 1:24 cars and motorcycles were also listed for $15 and up. Being the condition they were in, the prices were fair. I did try to get a small box full of randoms (mostly trucks), bundled but he priced them individually for $55. I was like, let me put some of these Ferrari cars back because all I really wanted was the trucks. I ended up getting three of the trucks in pic and 3 hot wheels trucks for the late 90's for $20. I did have a few hundred in my pocket just in case I hit a jackpot, but nothing stood out as amazing and he really didn't bundle. Still, it was nice to see what my kids will be doing with my "stuff" when I pass...at least mine will be pretty and stored correctly LoL. edit--**I also purchased this 68 Mustang...added a pic of what was advertised on Marketplace....the plastic car sets for $20...nothing was in there but beat up cars...recent ones...

 

Found this today and only after I got home did I realize it was a "special".

Out of all he had on the driveway, I only purchased 6 or 7 items. But yea, it was a motherload...lol.

 

I hit the Dollar General last night while visiting my daughter....normally it's empty but there were a few Hot Wheels just hanging around, so I was able to get these three. The 69 Charger is my favorite.

 

Definitely coming out of the package.
