    It was a great time!
Trail water was pretty high. River water was moderate. Only 2 of us with snorkels.
We took the South entrance in and out. Took around 10 hours to do the trail. We had to swap a tire and took lots of pictures. It only took 1.5 hours to get out.

Replacing my Icons with OME, the Icons are overkill for the mall crawling that I do these days. The OME should work fine for those Edmonton pot holes… If anyone is interested in some Icons that need rebuilding PM me. They are on a second gen, not sure what else they fit.

Those OME will last way longer than the Icons here.

Any Edmonton Toyota groups that like to go out on adventures? Always looking for new people and places to go explore with.

Will definitely keep you in mind! Just navigating a move of households currently. Would like to get out and do a bit of winter wheeling as well this winter.

Seems like it's always an obligatory 3hr minimum drive before you get to the fun stuff.

    Yes.
There's fewer maps than on the 3rd Gen, however, I've tuned at least a dozen or so, so far all with raving reviews.
Plus, you can't go wrong with our 30 day money back guarantee.
What year is your second gen?

    Anyone interested on Overlanding Mojave/Death Valley/Baja January/February 2023 ?
I wanna do Baja with this group from Feb 2-5 then Mojave/Death Valley either before or after depending on what works for everyone.
I did a cost assessment, food/fuel/Bajs trip, a cpl hotels nights in hotels on the way down etc. , the price should be around $4,000 CAD/vehicle with 2 people.
So far there's me with my wife and another couple from Edmonton interested, would be great if we can get at least 2 more rigs.
Mojave is very scenic but pretty mild except for a few spots, you will need a 2" lift and 33's, I did half of it alone last winter without any hiccups.
Lmk ASAP, spots for the Baja trip are filling up fast.

Has anyone had work done or experience with 4wheel Auto here in Edmonton? Driven past them many times but saw they had a Landcruiser parked out front as their show truck so I finally dropped in.

front office staff seems super knowledgeable and welcoming but just wondering on people’s experience with their workmanship. Planning on building up my 2nd gen Tacoma and was thinking of going to Krave for the work but this shop seems to do a lot of work on Toyotas. If I can save the travel to YYC then why not?

Reviews on google seem to be good too.

8807 63 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 0E9 For the shop in question. Not to be confused with 4wheel parts!

I haven't had work done by them so can't comment on their expertise, but twice I went in there inquiring about pricing and they said they would call me back, and never did. And these were not small dollar items ($5000+ suspension for example). And I was not just window shopping as I ended up buying from elsewhere. So didn't appreciate that they couldn't take the time to follow up - they had my email and my phone number... once I can understand, twice is sorry I'm going elsewhere.

Krave has my business lately - they supported me through an issue with my supercharger and made sure I was happy with it. Sucks to make the drive to Calgary though. I have put a lot into my second gen, let me know if you have questions on what I'd do again or not.
