Yep, don't dare miss a day of posts as it is torture to catch up.

 

I give up now.

90+% of my TW time is during work hours since I just keep it on one of my screens, I log off around 4 on Friday and don't see it till Monday.... F it and just go to the last page. Sometimes, I do a quick scroll through the missed pages, but not always.

 

Sat/Sun No pics = No look!

 

I might browse a little on those days but just a quick scan

 

It's funny, though. All these comments about how many comments there are. It's only making it worse.

Bought eBay bed cargo lights, installed today in about 25 minutes total. Pics below for viewing. I had to snip the little lugs on the top of the light, they weren't wide enough to slip over the bed wall, there's a compare pic to show you the difference, and a vid!! I'll get another pic after sun goes down.

Got my sequential mirror signals installed. Definitely a great improvement over stock, hhhmmmm what's next ? Heritage grill

 

Dropped it off at the dealer that will be installing a new motor in it. 6500 miles. Rod or main bearing.

No clue. Had it in for the 5000 mile service about a month and a half ago and had the oil/filter changed. I asked then if they thought it sounded right and they said its the normal Tacoma thing. Progressively got louder so I stopped by today and ask what they thought now. Several techs and shop manager came over and told me not to drive it any further. Customer walked by and said "that things got a rod knocking". I basically drive like a 65 year old (ok I'm 58 but). So new motor it is. No telling how long it will take to get one of those. They are supposed to call me tomorrow. Gave me a SR5 to drive in the meantime.

 

Damn. That sucks. But at least they are taking care of it right.

That was my first impulse but then I said why should I got through that effort and why haven't I heard of this problem from others. I'm waiting for a response from the seller and maybe hearing from other Taco owners that have done this before making a decision.
