I plan to do an initial print tomorrow. (It will fit on the printer at work!) Hopefully it gets done before the end of the day so I can check for fitment this weekend.

Native fusion 360 is .f3d and .f3z, but it supports opening SOLIDWORKS files, so it can open an .sldprt file. If that's what it's already in, I would say just leave it in your current format.

Will do. Hopefully the test fit goes well and we can hook In2Ndo up with his charging adapter soon!
Once the design is nailed down, I will probably upload it to Thingiverse or some other site like that.

sounds good. What material are you going to print it out of? I have a few things printed out of PLA and PLA+ and so far they have held pretty good.

I think the filament we have at work is either PLA or ABS. Will check tomorrow.

ASA is very common in professional FDM printers also.

This is NOT going to be a closely held design. I will send you an .stl or .sldprt file after I have made sure it fits correctly.
I just don't want to send out a design that is sub-par.

The Ultimaker I have access to at work is FAR from a professional printer, just a desktop FDM printer. We do have a Stratasus printer somewhere that does make excellent professional prints, but I do not have access to it.

Well, I thinned the walls to .125" and freed up a bunch of room on the underside.

    20221027_130522.jpg

With the thinned out walls, I am uncomfortable putting multiple cable egress holes in the design as each one weakens the design.

So I made 3 different files.

Taco Magsafe Adapter V1 FR has the notch in the front right corner.
Taco Magsafe Adapter V1 FL has the notch in the front left corner.
Taco Magsafe Adapter V1 RR has the notch in the right rear corner.

I trust that you folks on here will be able to print out a piece for fitment much faster than I can. Just let me know what changes need to be made to it for it to fit perfectly.

I can't upload .stl files to this post (Administrators can you help with this?)
So I will upload the SolidWorks files to this post and send the .stl files to folks who PM their email address.

    Happy Printing!

I think the best options for the cable exit could be, front right corner, because the power outlet is in the right top hand side of the qi charger. Left or right side, to maybe make an opening in the qi space wall to pull the wire inside and under the shift knob cover to plug it inside the center console USB plug. And the rear, either left or right. If someone wants to wire it somewhere else under there.
The front left opening wouldn’t have a near by connection to use.
