Wow that does suck, especially when its a new truck. At least they are taking care of it. If it makes you feel any better i was in the same boat with my 2015 wrx i had brand new. Needed a new short block at 7k.

I'm sorry to hear this. How many miles on it?

[update]The question about miles was stupid. I think that I was shocked learning of the failure, and didn't notice you mentioned the miles.

AJT Design oversized cup holder came in! My third iteration of trying to find a good spot for my hydroflask and I think this one is here to stay! Price is a steal for the quality! Thanks @AJT DESIGN!!

My other attempts were an adapter from Amazon and a neat strap holder on Etsy that hung on the side. The adapter would pop out after getting loose and the strap took up passenger leg room.

Oh there will be some mods all right
Used it as my exploration vehicle again, this time with upgraded suspension! Finding new places is always great but when they are close to home and you didn't even know they were there it's extra awesome. If anyone is on the fence about 6112s and 5160s, don't be. It is a wonderful setup. I also took my sway bar off and I know that can be a touchy subject on here but I am extremely confident that it is still completely safe and I know for 100% certain allowing the front to be truly independent improves ride quality immensely.

    Some stuff
That would be this guy @c_walters
I took out the plastic and replaced it with a cloth molle. Also have enough stuff (in case of emergency) shoved in there to deaden all the sound. But I can say without anything back there it is louder. Which doesn’t really bother me.

Could be the law of averages as to why other people hadn’t had a motor go. 100’sof thousand Tacoma trucks and one motor shits the bed.
Meanwhile my 2019 supposedly has a fuel pump recall. 47 k on the clock. I have no idea whether it was done or not.

This is the look I'm going for...all red. I have the Meso dual dome light which I love and I'm also waiting on the Meso dual color Maps. I was thinking about just getting a VLED in Red for the maps but I didn't know if they would be different shades of red and look stupid or clash. My question is are the VLEDS and the Meso very different shades of red? I actually emailed the VLED people this question but they didn't know. I haven't even thought about the Diode Dynamics but how do those match the others? Thanks for your help and I love the look by the way!!
