Is the " no hub " piping , the type that is fused together with an iron ?

no hub piping is cast iron and no hub clamps are used for connections

 

I was thinking of ABS , so you guys use no plastic piping at all ? No pex ?

 

no plastic in the city or the 5 boro's
long island you allowed in any resd. dwelling 3 stories or less

i have never use pex in my life nor do i care to......
im old school

 

if i wanted to sling pex i would have been an electrican
now them guys are over paid.......
i wire my own boilers "well most of them'.....and most of the electrcans here dont even know how to
