She and my senior coworker (our electronic instrumentation control specialist) both have two-year engineering/control degrees from tech colleges as far as I know. I have my two-year electrician tech cert and theyre training me up to be a control specialist to take over when my coworker retires. I dont think my company cares as long as you kind of know what youre doing :notsure:

I can't argue. Lots more power and fuel economy than a Tacoma. I do find my tundra to be way more comfy than the f-1shitty. Once I did the seat risers in my last taco, it was comfy as hell.

Well damn. Maybe I should give college a third shot!

Third times a charm. This last one was my third time, but college in your 30’s feels like..

That's how I felt at the last car meet I took the Tacoma to. Everybody vaping with hats on sideways and "shitbox edition" cars everywhere. Granted my truck is no show pony, but I sure felt out of place.

Good morning everyone. TW wouldn't load this morning. So I'm a little late.

Don't get me started. I've only been at it for ten years and I've already "retired" because of the shift in crowd.

Don't worry boss, we're used to "late" folks around here. (Probably why they drive stock trucks)

Or my favorite way to start the week anywhere (since 1988, if not earlier), a cinnamon roll and coffee. Now, I hope for a half-hour break 7-7:30 Sunday mornings to sit down at Bakery By The Lake downtown after firing up computers and checking song lyrics, then walk back to church for sound checks and rehearsal. Does a massive pecan roll at Tuesday morning men's bible study at Jimmy's Down the Street (featured on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" -season/episode 7/11 or 11/7) count as "holy?" Breaking bread and drinking liquid...

Not going to lie, at the very end I thought it said "breaking bad and drinking liquid" which I instantly jumped to that oh so popular TV show and went "well that was a twist!"

Lock down at my kids high-school today. A gun was found in a students bag. I don't have any other details. Not an active shooter situation but still stressful for the kids. All they knew was that they were in lock down.....and whatever info was trickling in on their phones.

The staff and local police took it very serious and are to be commended.
