60+ year old thread.

It is a series of a lubricant, mentioned below, the true benefits take about 4 weeks to happen, I was told. Truthfully, I do not have any pain, but I have a hard time kneeling, squatting and walking up stairs. I usually do not push off on the affected leg when going up stairs. I feel that it is getting better, easier to walk upstairs. I will try my best to give you a follow up in 3 to 4 weeks. I also have family member that are interested.

Ken: That is what I have injected. Third and final shot yesterday. I can go back for a follow up shot. if needed, in 6 months. Think I will make reminders in my calendar.

Today is a trifecta of medical visits. Meet with primary doctor for 3-month checkup, weight loss has slowed down, but I am still eating really healthy, meet with ENT doctor for ear problem, and having my hearing aids adjusted at Costco. We are also going out to a concert tonight. Should be a busy and fun day.

 

Hi all. Day off work for Dr. visits. Still can’t believe I need 2 appointments for 2 issues in one day. Guess I should feel lucky nothing is major.

Oh, and here’s Nora, our brandy new grandaughter.

I had my second of a series of three hyaluronic acid injections on my right knee on Tuesday; next Tuesday is my third and final, and then we wait to see if it has any effect. If not, then it is time to surgically adjust my shredded right medial meniscus, and if that doesn't work, either hold out for stem cell therapy or a knee replacement.

Knee issues, back issues, shoulder issues, hearing issues and trips to the dentist...it seems all have the same things in common.
I think it's called old age but I'll take it. Glad your doing good with the knee shots. Stay safe Tom.

Now I feel much better!
When I got fuel oil a couple months ago it was "ONLY" $4.499 a Gal., I just looked, and it is now $5.499 and they are predicting it to go much higher as winter sets in . I'll probably need a fill in early spring when it's at its peak !!!

 

$5.74 last week here, and that was a very competitive price
