Upgraded my charging system for my Aux battery from an SI-ACR to the Ironman4x4 DC-DC solar charger. If I left my fridge running for several days(parked at my shady house) with the ACR the 2nd battery would struggle to get the charge back up to the connection voltage and keep it there with the draw of the fridge for it to charge while driving(alternator charge).

And now as far as I know, regardless of state of charge the DC-DC charger will boost the voltage from the alternator up to a set voltage. I'll be happy not to have to worry about this now.

Definitely feel a difference with the new mounts. It's a lot less like winding up a spring, but I do feel the extra vibrations. Mostly way low, pulling out of a stop but a little bit in all rpm ranges.



And when I tried to grease the front drive shaft the u-joint dust covers broke and fell off.. So new u-joints got installed.. And when I was handling the shaft one of the weights came of...

 

Just ordered a new IEDLS carrier bearing, looks like this one is starting to come apart.

id have ocd with those brand new hangers i need new shackles as well. Id buy new OEM ones and throw in some poly bushings in them to help with droop. Looks good though.

 

But then if the shackles were new, I would have to get a new Axle, and if the axle were new I would have to get a new driveshaft, and at that point I would have to put a supercharger on.

I do already have poly bushings front and rear of the leaf pack.

 

New psi gauge, now I need boost psi maker!

 

307566 replaced the carrier bearing and center ujoint while I had it half way apart. The polyurethane flanges were cracking and falling off but what I couldn't see while installed was the ring holding the bearing was also cracked through. It's also weird replacing the joints before they're dried out and disintegrated. You can see where the bearing surfaces were starting to get a little crunchy.

The starter started to become more and more click unhappy. I ordered a couple kits from Amazon but they had the wrong size plunger. Ordered some more parts from maniac electronics for the right size plunger but didn't like the bolts I received from them so I just pieced it together from all the kits. No more click so far.

 

Finally decided to get rid of a rattle coming from the passenger side. Crawled under and the heat shields on the passenger side were loose so I fixed those and went for a ride, still hear the rattle. Remembered the mid rock light was loose once, it was loose again so I fixed that, and no more rattle... Too bad the light apparently doesn't work anymore ordered new lights
