Factoring in the cost of bumpstops and bumpstop kit I can totally see where your coming from. It is a large expense and if your planning on running OEM bedsides forget about it the amount of extra clearancing would be way to much, even with 6" glass and 35s we still have to trim the bedsides.

We really appreciate the positive words, and respect shown to a "competitor", we have a mutual respect for all manufactures out there doing everything they can to provide the offroad community with the products they want, you and the crew at JD have done a phenomenal job. I often get people calling trying to get us to slam other companies not realizing we are all friends haha

So with that said, is there such a thing as a bolt on bump stop mount that actually mounts the bump high enough that can get axle to frame (or as close as you can get)?

I have some old Icon bumps in the rear that as you can see hang down pretty far.

    Yes
I looked into it previously and the Camburg kit was the only one that bumped level with the bottom of the frame, the King & TC kits all position the can lower

This is what I found underneath connecting the piggyback.
OD of the threads measures 1.05".
What standard do guys think this fitting is? I did "some" research and still have no clue. Threads look like JIC as Shane mentioned.20221027_191318~2.jpg

Take it to a local hydraulic hose shop and have them make what you want.

that’s definitely not a JIC so you can’t just connect a standard resi hose to it.

Nice. Thanks! The DK kit is cool but I don’t want to redo my shocks yet. When I set it up originally I was doing it frame to axle. So these will work nicely.

Has anybody in here ran the camburg 2” trail kit yet? Toying around with the thought for the fiancés truck. She wants to keep it simple and as narrow as possible, plus the thought of keeping her current coilovers is pretty nice. A little tossed up on what to do, can’t find anybody with real world experience.

Simple and narrow as possible is just keep it stock length. Get good ucas, extended oil overs and good shocks out back. My wife’s 4runner is freaking awesome and super stealthy.

It’s already a pretty nice mid travel setup. Dirtking lowers, camburg uppers, king extended travel, Deaver U402’s and king 14x2.5’s. It works well. It’s just meh when it comes to the too little down travel in the front and too little up travel in the rear.

When you need more just drive your truck. That’s our mentality with it. Hers is way more comfortable and spacious for camping and easier little trail rides. And if we want to go faster or do more technical crawling then we take mine. Limit straps up front to keep top out from being too harsh? Not much for the rear up travel though. Do wish hers had a like 2-3 more inches of up travel in the rear. That would be the money maker right there and balance it with the front perfectly

The rear uptravel is the big killer. That will eventually be the JD SUA and I know damn well I’ll really hate the front after that. Which is why I’m trying to figure out a front kit.
