Everything about the Topo Toppers looks so clean and sharp. I've been seriously eyeing the Mesa and need to make up my mind soon before the price goes up. Can anyone here that has a Topo Topper comment on their experiences in strong wind conditions? That's the biggest hang up for me vs. another hard-sided option I'm considering but would have to wait 10 months for.

I camped the same day I picked it up out near Joshua tree BLM and there were 30+ mph winds, the tent itself was solid but it was shaking my whole truck. The only tent noises were the buckle style strips used to secure the tent windows but that could be easily eliminated.

Edit: Also made sure the front of the truck was aimed at the direction of the incoming wind

Got the truck back a few days ago and ended up just selling it to the used camper place. Got a grand for it. I know I could have sold it for 1200-1500, but I really didn't want to store it or deal with people. There's value in just being done with it.

    Nice!

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn! A sink and a shitter, you're set! Seriously, good looking buildout. I have a few ideas floating around my head, but need to wait until my install to finalize them.

For the bandlander with some options, yes 9000 seems about right, the mesa starts around 6000, which I think is fair.

Loving the mesa and all updates that have been posted just put down my deposit for one, I also saw there is no third brake light or one that I can see. It is probably not a big deal, but I thought all truck caps must have a third brake light, but also I do not know the law all too well. Thoughts on this would be great

I didn't really think about it because mine has been covered up by a bedrack and tent for a few years but you make a good point.

I feel like the bed rack and tent are in a grey area in terms of brake lights, but if you look at every other competitor (GFC, four-wheel campers, etc) all have third brake lights. Wonder if they're going to add it in, I believe there going to call me tomorrow to confirm my order and I will ask.

Judging by the little green LCD panel, it looks like you have solar. Are you going to install solar panels on the roof of the Mesa?

Anybody with a Badlander mind taking a few pictures of the inside with the top popped? I built my own wedge camper but being 6'3" with size 14 feet the footroom isn't the greatest. It's comfy solo but gets alittle tight with my wife and I up there. I'm thinking about converting it to a straight pop up like the badlander.

I'm specifically interested in the locking supports on the front and rear and how they function.
