I've driven 1, 99, and 97 all north or north-east bound and I've gotten upwards of 130 as well, 97/the Canyon isn't as safe to get up there but some of 99 isn't too bad, 1/Coq is a dream for 120-140 especially when you're laughing at a broken down Dodge on the side.

Scary stuff, glad the Toyo AT3s hold up as well as you and numerous others down there have said, especially as everyone along the coast is looking at another early winter of atmospheric rivers. I've been thinking of getting a milder AT tire for when I'm road tripping to offroad destinations... Or just buy a nice set of highway tires and swap 'em out every time. Feels like that'd be a pain in the ass but I'd be able to keep my Cooper ST Maxx for worse terrain.

I think my Toyo AT3's have handled the rain/wet pretty dang well. No complaints from me. Really good all around tire and I'm super satisfied with my purchase.

Agreed. My peaks are already dry rotted 2 years later and were a bitch to balance right. It was a good tire when they were under $200 per tire. At their new price, there are better options.

On my side, I got over 55k in about 3yrs with no balance issues.

Mine have worn pretty good. I'm at about 35k on them now.

Peaks seem decent when they balance right. Possible balancing issues alone made me go with Toyo’s though. Had no issues getting mine balanced. Also heard about some premature dry rotting on them too, which made me kinda want to steer clear. It seems like Toyo’s QC is way ahead of the game too. For a similar price, I think Toyo's are the better buy, but if you get a good set of peaks I’m sure they’d be fine. After all they’re popular…
