    Many thanks for the advice. I was checking out your shop built, first rate craftsmanship! On my beam, screws on both sides, toed inwards, or just use 2 1/2" screws and go straight in? I can't see where this beam will ever get any lateral loading, it just hangs out into the yard.

    Eye check done.... waiting for an appointment with the optomologist to check on the bad spot. That new machine is pretty cool....no need to get eyes dilated any more....
