SOLD — 2014 TACOMA BAJA EDT/60K MILES/SUPERCHARGED/6SPD

The time has come to put my beloved Baja for sale. I thought I would own this truck forever and if I could have 2, I would. I purchased a new TRD Pro because I always wanted one and I also wanted certain amenities that I do not have in this truck. It runs perfect as it is my daily. It has super low miles because everything I do is close to home. I absolutely do not abuse my truck. It has never been wheeled, but it’s dying to if that is your thing. I am beyond meticulous with it in every way. Anyone that knows me can completely attest to that. Do you know how everyone knows a guy that takes crazy good care of his vehicles and you tell yourself, “he’s the one I wanna buy a vehicle from” ? Well, I’m that guy. I have 2 stacks of paperwork of everything I have done to this truck. 1 stack for maintenance and the other for modifications. As far as mods go. Everything has been well thought out. I was extremely particular as to what went on my truck. If you read my build page (which I encourage you to do) you’ll read that my goal was to build a very reliable fast truck. That is exactly what I did. I have spent a lot of time and money to get this truck where it is at with no regrets.

I am the second owner. First owner was a Toyota exec that got sick of driving stick. He drove it from new until 11,664 miles. I purchased it in Cedar Rapids Iowa on 2/25/15 and had a dealer local to me install the TRD supercharger at 14,895 on 7/17/15.

I recently did the 60K oil change. It now has 60,041 miles and will go up ever so slightly until I get my Pro back from my mechanic next week. He is a certified Toyota mechanic and has done all my work. Along with the supercharger, the cam gears, hptune, and regear to 4.30, they make this truck an absolute blast to drive. Couple all this with the full open (ceramic coated) exhaust and it being a 6 speed, it makes it even better. The tune is a very safe tune. Again, my goal was reliability. I opted for a safer tune that yes it enhances certain characteristics but without pushing the limit. When my mechanic exposed the top end to install the cam gears, he was very pleased how clean everything looked. My truck is very clean and very well taken care of. You won’t be disappointed. I also recently did my annual fluid filming to keep the undercarriage looking perfect.

I recently added a
-brand new set of Nitro gear UCA’s to rid myself of the uniball UCA’s it had.
-brand new oem brakes off my 22 Pro. I swapped over my wilwoods to my new Pro.
-brand new oem 22 TRD Pro wheels and Goodyear Wrangler Territory tires with Kevlar. I swapped over the previous wheels to the new Pro.
-new windshield wipers.

I have some extra parts that will go with it.
-s/c oil change kit.
-extra s/c belt.
-2 sets of URD o2 sims.
-URD heavy duty flywheel with ARP bolts.
-Hps heater silicone hoses.
-other odds and ends I can’t think of right now.

32k or OBO. Compared to other trucks comparable to mine, I feel this is a pretty dam good deal. Clean title in hand. If you’d like, I can provide my phone number to text or speak to personally. Only issues are the paint smudge on the cab behind the passenger side (photo 16) and the tail gate dent (photo 17) the smudge was from my mountain bike being unsecured like an idiot. The dent was from backing up and hitting the side of my garage like a bigger idiot. The windshield has 2 minor chips from rocks. I used a ceramic fix kit and haven’t had any problems with it cracking. Lastly, I would put 285’s on it, cuz it looks so much better. It also needs the tpms sensors recalibrated due to me swapping the wheels.

For 32k with all the mods and the low mileage that’s a damn good price for these days, I see stock 2014 with that low mileage for the same price. Beautiful truck OP

 

I appreciate that. I priced it to sell, and do have a little wiggle room for those truly interested. I want someone that really wants this truck to buy it and enjoy it as I have.

Oh I will definitely be in touch if I get more serious. Yes, I have a stock 2018 TRD OR auto with leather interior and 59k miles.. I love it but my heart is with the 2nd Gens. And I regret not buying a manual when I was shopping for my current truck...

 

I asked because a Toyota dealer may buy it directly from you and give you more than you think. Carmax and Carvana are also 2 options. Last year we sold a 16k mile Ford Focus to Canvana for 2k more then what Carmax offered, and Carmax’s price wasn’t bad at all………just a thought.

 

Oh I'm already exploring those options! Lol. The biggest obstacle is convincing the wife to endure the headache of dealing with all the logistics of selling and buying and registering the new truck in Georgia etc etc etc. But the crazy thing is that we'd end up making money off my current truck if we ended up selling it. Tacomas really are amazing.
