I needed a new pack of sticky notes, but which color to choose?

    Regular yellow? Pink? Orange? Blue?

    Nope.

    Bright green. :D

What you want is a professional can opener… those classic twisties are hard on the hands. Just go to a restaurant supply and get one of these… my wife LOVES it.

POLL - We get kids every year. It varies based on new families in the area. Some years it’s 50+, others it’s less than a dozen. We ALWAYS buy candy we will eat if it doesn’t get handed out. Something for the young ones - teddy grahams, goldfish, Oreos, fruit gummies, etc. and stuff for the older - m&ms, skittles, Twix, etc. When the kids were young, we would take the leftover candy and their excess and bring it to the office. Everyone else devoured it and no shame for us.

Personally, I use a “no sharp” outside the can and typically open the bottom. I will clean out the can and will offer them to friends as “pantry safes”. Just put a little glue or solder to attach firmly and you’re golden.

What you need is a decent rocking chair -- you sit down to try to make a plan to clean the mess up, then nod off... (...at least that is what I do...)

I live on a dead end dirt road off another dirt road that isn't really on the way to anywhere, the nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile away. 29 years and have never seen a trick or treater yet. Life is good. :)

Here’s a fun thing that happened the other day. Wednesday I was at work and randomly I couldn’t hear much out of my right ear. No loud noises caused it, I was standing there and boom, what was that? Fast forward to now, I can hear out of that ear a bit, but high pitch ringing in the background. I guess I’ll have to see a doctor or something but man I hate to go.

    I have you both beat!!

    In one shop.

Things have been following me home from job sites for 40 years .

As everything is quoted in the bid on the job so much just gets tossed cheaper then paying to pack it up and ship it to the shop.

It is like a treasure hunt I find things I forgot all about all the time just not what I was looking for!
