    I was tempted to place an order except for the fact that my recent experience made me realize it would be a silly purchase. I do not want to be unplugging it underwater lol. It was hard enough getting a locking hitch pin out by feel in freezing water. Now to have to feel around behind and under the hitch so I can put my recovery shackle in? No thanks.

    I have a hard time visualizing how that would work but I like the idea in theory for sure. I guess maybe just the light pods on each side of the hitch so you could have a recovery shackle or a tow ball?

    Yeah. Pretty similar to the standard hitch shackle setup, but with little pods on either side.
