Finally made it to Saturday, the last day of my work week. Hopefully I won't have to work a Saturday for a couple weeks now.
I saw something on YouTube yesterday that said this country only has a 25 day supply of diesel fuel. We are going to run out. That means no groceries or anything.

It's been talked about for a few days on talk radio. That's the supply reserve in case SHTF and no resupply is happening. Yeah, that's really bad. Nothing will move, farmers wouldn't be able to continue harvests. Mind boggling how bad that could be. There is no reason this country should be in this position! I'll stop there as I'd start treading on really thin ice.

Interesting week it was. Most of the week was fairly slow. Not many deliveries, though a fair amount of pickups. As has to happen, yesterday I had almost twice as many deliveries as every other day and when I got empty, I only had 2 pickups. Then I got another. Then another. Then another. Then, back to the 2nd. Then, 2 more. One end of town to the other and back again. Then, I get to one pickup that I was sure closes @ 1 on Fridays (was down for 5:00 close and I got there @ 4) to find them closed. Great, wasted 20 minutes I didn't have driving over there. Luckily I only had one more time sensitive pickup to make, got there with 5 minutes to spare.

Turned into nearly 9 hours on Fri, when the rest of the week I was lucky to make 8. I know, I know...8 hours, lucky bastard...and bitching about 9.

Well I just finished my Saturday, 6.5 hours and 56 for the week. Looks like I better not bitch about hours and just take what they give me like it or not. The fuel thing has me worried.

Oh, forgot to mention...had a B-25 (pretty sure that's what it was) fly over me @ about 200' yesterday. Pretty cool. I have seen this plane several times since mid-July flying around the airport in Oshkosh. It may be being restored there.

Uhg, Monday, having coffee. Raining here. Hopefully only 5 days this week. After only having 1 day off I don't feel rested.

There's a saying that goes something like this "If not for bad luck, I would not have any luck at all"
Anyways, my Friday morning sucked. Had to drive someone else's equipment, but should get my stuff back tomorrow.

Well the motor on my trailer died yesterday so I’m in another truck today. Already miss my truck and I haven’t been out of it for an hour.

Have to swap trucks with the resident driver tonight dammit. Bringing his back for service. His truck is always disgusting, I've posted pics before.

Humpday! And then 2 more to go.
I know how bad it sucks to drive another guys truck. They had another driver move my truck into the docks this morning and the guy is twice my size, so my seat was all jacked up.when I have to move his truck my feet dangle off the seat because I don't have enough weight to make it go down, and I'm 215.

No wonder I couldn’t dump the bags, some good smacks and it fell into place. Got it replaced when I got back to the shop. B05B3A3E-3117-44A1-A716-8852B980BB3E.jpg
