Well we made it to the stand was all set up and about 40 mins in to it he taps me and say I don’t feel good and fountains over the edge, but he throws up like a drunk sailor heeves and wipes not a grunt or tear . I ask him if he can climb down he say yep and we walked back laughing told him never have I thrown up at 18 ft in the air. We got alot of Time till the end of season .

Well, the wife and I added a new member to our family today. It's been a little under a year since her 15 year old passed, and she felt she was ready for another. Here's Sooner, a 3 year old lab/retriever mix that got to come home from the shelter today.

Thanks, we got a story out of it and a laugh. I’ll take that was never able to hunt with my dad as we moved to Florida the year I was gonna be able to start in PA then he quit hunting. He passed in 2001 and I started in 2012 to learn, taken both now out and love to have them with me out there. My

 

He's very energetic, needs some leash manners taught. He was brought in as a stray, but clearly had spent time around some people before. He's got sit figured out, but that's about it so we've got a lot of training and obedience ahead of us.

Yeah, he pulled for 2 miles straight even with me keeping him on a tight leash. Hadn't even slowed down by the time we made it back to the car. I bet he would've made a good bird dog if he had been trained.

 

You have to learn how to do stuff before you can teach him..

Falling off the pooper in the dark has it’s own set of problems.

 

3 years old is about the peak of high puppy energy. Lots of walks and toys will help burn that off.

I've got a 9 year old 85lbs American Staffordshire Terrier. I've always had Pitbulls and Staffordshire's. I prefer the neoprene top paw harnesses from Petsmart.

Basically, the dog wears it like a bra and the leash clips in on their back. I don't care for the choke chains.

Kong makes a few as well that are almost like tactical vests for your dog if you want some extra pockets.

 

Figured you guys might like these! These knife handles I just machined are made from FORDITE. Which is the paint they peel off the FORD paint booths every so often.
