I use a trickle charger for charging and to give them a lil boost in the winter, I've been known to leave it on fer a couple of weeks at a time. :anonymous:

I'm not sure why...its gonna charge until its done, then its.....done.
In 12 hours you'll be able to unplug it anyhow.

@Tacoma Mike prolly (definitely) would know much more about this than I would.

    Morning
This is what I use for the boat and all other batteries
    8E9C03E3-D714-4CEE-AF0E-B1EB86612D0D.jpg
We leave the cars hooked up 6 months at a time.

These have a float mode so it changes from a charger to a maintainer.
We have had 30 of these hooked up at one point. Very little problems.
I have lost a couple. One to being dropped (duuuu) and one to electrical lightning surge.
    Outside of that NP.
When I come back home from feeschin I just plug in and it’s ready when I go out again.

I also hook these up once a month to all batteries I have to peak them up.

Poly boards are slick. No doubt however, to slick. I can back down a steep launch all unhooked and back right in. With poly or rollers the boat will come off so you need to stop, get out, unhook the winch, climb back in, and then launch. I can launch, secure the boat and Get out of the way in less than 2 min. I can load and get out in less than 3. When I’m backing down I don’t stop. It infuriates me to see people
Tie up a launch and then start loading shit into the boat. I let them know it too.
